This series of 60 medals issued by the Britannia Commemorative Society honors outstanding people, places and events in the history of Great Britain. The dies were made at the Franklin Mint and were then sent to Great Britain where 809 proofs were struck for members in England and other parts of the world. Each medal bears the subscriber's personal serial number on its edge.
