Issued in both silver and gold-plate, both of equal value. Each ingot measures app. 2-1/4 inches by 2-1/4 inches. Complete set is 10 ingots. Large high relief ingots in an unusual square-round shape. The ingots show famous paintings of the Old West by Frederic Remington and Charles Russell, two of the most famous American artists of the west. The obverse (front) of each ingot shows the painting, while the reverse gives the title of the painting, the artist name, and a brief description of the scene. The reverse is also stamped "THE OLD WEST."
